Australia Awards Short Courses are short-term training and professional development opportunities funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The short-term training and professional development opportunities provided through Australia Awards Short Courses develop recipients’ skills and knowledge and help them build networks to drive change and contribute to development in their home countries and regions.
Australia Awards Short Courses are delivered throughout the year on specific topics related to key development challenges. Short Courses may be delivered in Australia, in the home country or across both locations.
In South and West Asia, Australia Awards Short Courses are open to suitably qualified nationals of Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Applications are encouraged from women, people with disability and individuals from traditionally-marginalised groups.
